Application Process:

NEW! We now have two administrative tracks available for PSP families:

-Standard PSP Track – families oversee and complete student’s Course of Study, grades for self-taught courses, curriculum choice, monthly lesson summaries, and high school tracking. Parent-teacher is required to attend parent-teacher meetings once a month during the school year. Tuition rates differ for the two tracks. Please see Application and the Main Policy Manual from our Documents tab for additional information.

-Assisted Independent Study – PSP Administrator oversees and completes each student’s Course of Study, course grades, curriculum choice, monthly lesson summaries, and high school tracking. Parents are required to participate in weekly phone conference and monthly in-person progress conference. Students must attend a progress conference at least once a quarter. Monthly parent-teacher meetings are optional for the Assisted Independent Study program. Tuition rates differ for the two tracks. Steps for Application:

1.  Read through the questionairre on the second page of the Application to see if the PSP looks like a good fit for your family.

2.  Browse through the website, look at some recent newsletters, and read through our Main Policy Manual from our Documents tab to familiarize yourself with some of our day to day workings.

3.  To proceed with enrollment, please download and complete the Application. Be sure to choose the applicable administrative track. Drop off or mail the application with a $25 non-refundable application fee to RVCS PSP, 4585 Badger Road, Santa Rosa, CA 95409.

4.  Within a week or so you will receive an email with additional questions and/or a request to setup a family interview.

5.  At the interview we explain how the PSP works, our educational philosophy, our relationship with the church and day school, our two administrative tracks, and PSP requirements and paperwork.  It also gives the family time to ask questions.

6.  Within a few days of the interview you will be contacted via email as to an acceptance decision.

7.  Once accepted, additional enrollment paperwork is emailed and expected to be returned by the following month (usually by the 10th), along with enrollment fee and any Campus Day registration and fees.

Prospective families should:

  • Express faith in Jesus Christ for salvation
  • Engage in a Bible-believing church
  • Support the SRBC/RVC Doctrinal Statement, Position on Educational Choice, and Ministry Vision Statements
  • Read the Main Policy Manual from our Documents tab for additional information
  • Understand parent education and paperwork requirements for specific administrative track chosen
  • Commit to join HSLDA (group number 299594)
  • Complete 6 hours of parent participation per year
  • Participate in grocery card fundraising where applicable (ID 500018418).
